Complete participant

Basic recruitment workflow is the most common recruitment workflow used by majority of research teams. This workflow collects the minimum dataset for NIHR CRN projects (five data points on each research participant). They are:

1. Consented (date of consent)
2. Enrolled (date of enrolment)
3. Screen failure (date of screen failure)
4. Withdrawn (date of withdrawal)
5. Completed (date when participant completes the study).

Complete participant: A participant finishes their involvement with the research activity after their final visit according to the study protocol. Following consenting, Siteline presents the next activity based on the participant's involvement and the recruitment workflow chosen.

Site users/Site administrators are able to perform this activity on Siteline by searching and clicking on the relevant participant for each project.

Please note, that this step is not mandatory (for CRN recruitment reporting). However, researchers might find it useful to have this documented to reconstruct the participant's research journey or for internal audits.
