The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) collects research related data from clinical research networks (CRN) in England. The purpose and policies governing the data collection can be found here.
NIHR uses the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS) to collect the minimum recruitment data (numbers for each participant status) for all portfolio studies. Please note, only the number for each participant status is collected. No identifiable information is collected.
Siteline is the online Local Portfolio Management System (LPMS) used by Thames Valley & South Midlands Clinical Research Network (TVSM CRN) to report recruitment data from the region.
Site users and Site administrators can upload research recruitment data onto the LPMS, which then gets transferred over to the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS).
