While basic recruitment workflow captures the minimum dataset for NIHR CRN projects, workflows such as 'Research without consent workflow' are available to support research studies where ethical approval has been given to enrol participants without consent, e.g. emergency department settings.
Study teams can configure recruitment workflows so that participants follow a research path that matches their type of study e.g. Questionnaire, Pre-screening, Research without consent. In this way research nurses only maintain the participant statuses and data that are needed for that type of project.
Site administrators for each research delivery team will be able to define the workflow based on individual project's requirement. Following research workflows are available on Siteline to cater to the needs to the research projects.
