'Add a new participant' button missing

Q: Why I cannot see 'Add a new participant' button for my study?

A: This could happen because:

  • Study finished recruiting and is now in 'Follow-up'. Siteline does not allow new participants to be added to a study that finished recruiting. If the study is 'Closed to recruitment' in error, you could contact R&D to reopen recruitment to allow adding new participants.
  • Recruitment input method is set to be 'Recruitment entered via regular spreadsheet method'. Site administrators can change this to 'Recruitment entered through Siteline participant interface'. This will enable 'Add a new participant' button.
  • The project is associated to a 'sub-department' and the main department is set to be 'Recruiting'. Site administrators can set the main department to be 'Non-recruiting' This will enable 'Add a new participant' button for studies in sub-department.
