Most studies have hundreds of participants recruited to them. To update each and every participant with 'Year of Birth' could be daunting. However, Siteline allows users to bulk update participant details via spreadsheet method.
Step 1: Ensure the study is configured to collect 'Year of Birth' discussed here.
Step 2: Export the recruitment. Siteline will launch a spreadsheet with all participant information along with 'Year of Birth' column.
Step 3: Populate 'Year of Birth' column for participants in the exported spreadsheet.
Step 4: Important: Change the recruitment input method to 'Recruitment entered via regular spreadsheet import' method by editing the study configuration. You can find instructions on how to change the recruitment input here
Step 5: Import recruitment back to Siteline with updated information. This step will update all participants with the provided 'Year of Birth'.
Note: This method can be used to bulk edit participant details for each study.
