In response to NIHR's requirement to collect Year of Birth (YOB) for research participants from Thames Valley & South Midlands CRN,
i) Siteline will be configured to collect 'Year of Birth' for all research workflows. However, this field will be set to collect the data 'if available' and not mandatory. You can still report recruitment if you do not have the YOB for a participant.
ii) Support team will roll out the software change department by department.
Please note
a) 'Year of Birth' data field will be only available to 'Recruiting' departments initially.
b) Site administrators can edit the study configuration to make the department to be recruiting.
c) They can enable or disable 'Year of Birth' data field by editing the participant data collected for individual studies
d) Site administrators can customise the participant data collected by recruiting department for all new studies added to their list.
